My husband and I don't believe in taking our kids trick or treating for their own safety. So we usually try to make it to one or two Halloween events going on around our area. This year we took the boys to Sugar Land Town Center for their Halloween festivities. I have been sick for the last 3 WEEKS with the most wicked cold and really wasn't feeling up for getting dressed so I threw on a broom skirt, long sleeve top, ALDO oxfords and tried to look a little presentable with my MAC Ruby Woo lipstick.
This was the weekend before Halloween. The night of Halloween was spent feasting on popcorn balls and caramel apples!

This is the fourth time that I have made this green shake. I don't know if I have mentioned this before, but I am trying to lose some weight and eat healthier.
My shake has 1 banana, 1 pink lady apple, 10 grapes, 1 cup of kale/spinach/chard mix, 1/2 cup parsley and 6 cups Langers pineapple juice.
So yummy!

I know it has been forever since I have posted regularly. It has been FOREVER forever since I have done an outfit post!
I rarely go anywhere anymore. My oldest is in school, the youngest is at home with me during the week and I work every weekend. My spare time involves cooking, cleaning, homework and NOW the gym. So on the rare "occasion" that we go to the grocery store I try to jazz up a VERY basic outfit with some cute platform pumps. My Nine West sandals were at the ready for when my feet couldn't take it anymore, which wasn't long. My mommy uniform these days consists of Nike Shox, kitten heels, and those very Nine West sandals. You guys- yall just don't know! I have shoes that haven't been outside their box in over a year!!!

I gained every last bit of the 20 pounds that I lost last year back and I decided that it was time for a change. I am on my 3rd week at the gym now. I was really nervous at first because I thought I would hate it, but I actually love it! I have seen a small change in the way my pants fit me and even a co worker said that my stomach went down a little. These pants wouldn't even stay buttoned a month ago.
I lost 5 pounds and gained back 4 then lost 2 again.
I know, I know.
Apparently, I have probably been retaining a little water and building lean muscle at the same time.
I don't know if anyone remembers, but I used to have long hair....
I lost my mind for 5 minutes after seeing Beyonce's new cut.
I cut it myself. It's longer in the back than in the front. It was a disaster.
Is there any bright side to this story?
Well, yeah.
I have been wanting to rock a curly fro for months, and NOW I CAN!
HAHA!
